13Oct2007 Recording of RTL's "Ultimative Chart Show" (German TV) on Monday 15Oct2007 - Heaven 17 confirmed for at least one song (i.e. Temptation)

Air date is Saturday 27th October at 21:30 hours.

They made it to rank 49 (out of 50 deliberately selected singers and bands) from "The Best Of The 80's", so you will see Glenn and Martyn right at the beginning of the show. Ian is missing again, but they have been accompanied by Mesha miming the part of Carol Kenyon.

HL completists might be interested to learn that the Hot Gossip album produced by Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh (featuring several League covers) is being reissued on CD this month.

There don't seem to be any bonus tracks from the associated singles, but if you're interested, details are on Cherry Red's site here (scroll down to find it):

I haven't had time to listen to any of these early League shows yet, so I'm not sure what the quality is like, but you might be interested in this thread...

Mail from JUSTMUSIC:

THE SUN WILL COME… …AND YOU WILL HEAR IT! - CHECK OUT THE ALBUM & VIDEO NOW...

Pioneers of electronica, Honeyroot (Glenn Gregory and Keith Lowndes) follow up their critically acclaimed debut album with the soundtrack for the summer 2007…

The Sun Will Come is out on July 16th and is an instant summer classic offering originality, diversity and a complete listening experience. From the delicate to the immense it juxtaposes intense energy with a calming ambience – a style that fans are already labelling ‘Schizophonica’. With its masterful range of styles, The Sun Will Come is a great crossover album to sit alongside Air’s Moon Safari, Moby’s Play and Royksopp’s Melody AM, an album already shaping up to be an essential album for beach parties & dance floors across the globe.

The album is preceded by the single Nobody Loves You (The Way I Do) / Heavy Drops. This sublime double A-side release is the first single from The Sun Will Come. The lead track is the smooth sultry lounging of Nobody Loves You (The Way I Do), featuring a beautiful vocal by Briony Greenhill.

Showing the other face of The Sun Will Come is the instant upbeat sun-kissed classic Heavy Drops. Top remixers Manhattan Clique take the track up a gear with this sure-fire party anthem for summer 2007. Heavy Drops is accompanied by a fantastic animated video.

You can check out the album now HERE: Sun Will Come [UK-Import]
