QCD1: Heaven 17 - Let Me Go

 

The mislaid key to their 1983 classic, "The Luxury Gap". "Temptation", "Come Live With Me" and "Crushed By The Wheels Of Industry" may have been the ones to storm the charts, but it was "Let Me Go" that best acheived that often heard but seldom realised claim of moving both feet and hearts, with its subtle dry syncopation and sad wet-eyed narration of good love gone bad.
