Quoting the Yahoo-Erasure-club :

Last week a secret gig was held in London (a Private event) it consisted of an hour and a half of ambient music by Vince Clarke & Martyn Ware with also a version of the Dr Who Theme and a new version of Erasure`s 91 Steps.

The last half hour they were joined on stage by Andy Bell and they then performed

  1. Alien
  2. Sometimes
  3. Ship Of Fools
  4. Oh L`Amour
  5. Stop!
  6. A Little Respect
  7. Only You (Yazoo track)

Great news if this went well `maybe` a full Erasure tour will be in the near future, lets hope so.

See ya Mark.

First short review from Robert Sommerville            See his photos here

Awesome, fantastic and superb are just three words to describe Heaven 17 in concert.
The guys were playing in the city where they grew up, to a crowd of mainly Sheffield Wednesday fans, a few Heaven 17 devotees and were in party mood from the off.
They played all the usual old songs Temptation, Come Live With Me, Play To Win etc and three new songs Hands Up to Heaven, What Would It Take and I'm Going To Make You Fall In Love With Me which Glenn said they are now mixing for the new album.
By the encore Being Boiled and 20th Century Boy they were all kitted out in Sheffield Wednesday football shirts.
The guys left the stage to a tremendous ovation.

First short concert review by David Pardoe

I went to the Heaven 17 live gig in Northampton last night. The set was pretty much the same as on the How Live Is CD. But We Blame Love & Freak! were replaced by new tracks (one called Hands up to Heaven) and the final encore was T-Rex's 20th Century Boy.

The line up was the same as well, with singers Angie Brown and (I think) Billie Godfrey

They were brilliant.
